For a sustainable future

We believe that even waste can bring benefits. That's why in 2011 we started building our own biogas plant, which has been successfully operating since 2013. The plant converts manure and organic residues from our pig farms into clean energy - electricity and heat - reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We use the residues after processing as a safe and effective fertiliser for our fields. This is another example of how we combine agriculture with environmental care.

ENERGY FROM BIOWASTE

The 1.1 MW biogas plant processes organic waste and manure from pig farms using anaerobic digestion. The biogas produced in the process is burned to produce electricity and heat, The biogas production process reduces greenhouse gas emissions and minimises environmental impact. After biogas production, biomass residues are used as fertiliser, It meets all agricultural standards and best practices. It is better absorbed by plants and is virtually odourless, providing a cleaner and healthier environment.

SOLAR
POWER PLANTS

In 2024, we installed solar panels for the first time at one of our livestock farms. At the end of 2025, equipment with a total capacity of 1154 kW was installed at 6 pig farms.

This project allows us to use clean solar energy to cover part of the company's internal needs. This is not only an investment in energy efficiency, but also an example of responsible attitude to the environment.
With this solution, we are reducing our dependence on traditional energy sources and reducing CO₂ emissions. This is another step towards a sustainable future where energy works together with agriculture.
