Goodvalley's unwavering belief is that quality starts with care. And that's where it all began. In 1980, Tom Axelgaard, questioning the efficiency of conventional farming and its impact on the environment, began to develop the idea of sustainable farming, which has since proven to be a reliable model of agricultural production.
Since then, Goodvalley's technology has been adopted by many European countries that are committed to self-sufficiency, environmental care, high product quality and food safety.
Tom, who comes from a farming family in Denmark and owns a pig farm, is shaping his vision of responsible agriculture with a focus on high quality products and minimal environmental impact.
In search of new opportunities, Tom came to Ukraine for the first time, studying the work of local farms and the potential for implementing Danish farming practices.
Tom engages a group of Danish farmers and investors to develop projects in Eastern Europe. It was then that the foundation of Goodvalley and long-term international cooperation was laid.
